Transporting the Feather Chair is incredibly simple. The chair folds into a compact size by first folding down the backrest and then pulling up in the middle of the seat. Optional quick-release wheels allow a caregiver to remove the larger rear wheels at the push of a button. Upon reaching your destination, unfolding and reattaching the wheels takes under a minute.
Standard features include easily accessible wheel locks at the front of the frame, which prevent the wheelchair from rolling forward or backward. For caregivers, the integrated braking system is operated by bicycle-style locking brake levers on the push handles.
